It’s not uncommon for a buyer to view a property and then scout the neighbourhood. So, you want buyers to be able to see your home on short notice and at a convenient time for them. If there are several other nearby properties for sale, it means things are hot from a real estate point of view. You want to roll out the red carpet to buyers.

Can you believe that my tiny lady style car could fit the entire dining set? I am still shocked.
Sometimes owning a camper car comes in handy outside the camping. My dining room is almost ready and it was a time to bring in some decent furniture. By the way we never had a formal dining room - just did not need it. Kitchen is our favourite place to hang around - ask all the folks who used to visit me for a bottle of beer, slice of cake or cooking class. But for the sale we decided to have a "real" dining room. Anxious to see what it would look like. Will post a sneak peak once it is all nicely positioned.
Oh, and a bonus - power washer was getting a ride with me on the front seat. I know, I know this guy is brutal on gas, but come on, how could you bring a dining set in a Smart?
This is all fun stuff when you are helping someone to sell their home, but when it comes to your own - oh, my! We were in the this house for almost 8 years and it is getting a bit to small for the kids who keep on growing, besides it is way too far from the swimmig pool where my eldest baby practices 9 times a week. Long Branch is not what it used to be, old city charm is going away and this morning I got another reason to get out of here - St Paul's Church of Long Branch is being sold and there is a big chance it will go down and will be replaced with probably some high density residential. So sad, kiddos used to play piano and guitar there, it was also such an amazing landmark! Anyways, the decision is made and we have to be out by the end of August with the house going on the market May 28th. Not sure, how we are going to swing it around, as right no it looks like a complete disaster

It was a long journey, but I finally got it in my pocket, VIP access to best Toronto Pre-construction condos sales events to serve my clients better. As you might be already aware, all pre-construction condo sales go through 3 distinct stages:
1. Stage I - VIP sales event - usually 1 day event, when the new pre-construction project gets released for sales for the first time - this is the most wanted opportunity for both investors and home buyers for a number of reasons:
- Best choice and Unit Availability
- Great incentives, like full year of free property management, guaranteed rent, no maintenance fees for a specified time
- VIP freebies, like lockers, storage units at no charge
- VIP pricing
Only agents with VIP membership and their clients are granted access to this event. And I am one of the lucky few!
2. Stage II - Platinum Access - usually lasts for about a month, a stage where agents with Platinum Membership and their clients are given acees to the units still available after stage 1.
3. Stage III - General Public Access - this is where the access is given to everyone. Folks could just walk in from the street to the presentation center, get the paperwork signed and become a condo owner. Unfortunately on this Stage, public is no longer granted any VIP pricing, no freebies, and public gets to choose from the "left-overs". I actually know people, who lost money buying on this stage, but this is not the topic for now.

Why out of the all Unusual Houses I wrote about so far, I missed this one? No idea! But this is long due - CN Tower one of the major landmarks of Toronto, Canada and World!
CN tower was completed in 1976 on the former railroad grounds. It is 553.33 meters tall - number is easy to remeber! For almost 35 years CN Tower remained the tallest free standing structure of the world. Now there are 2 more towers that are taller, but I am not mentioning them in this post.
Just in case someone did not know - CN stands for Canadian National, yes, like Canadian National Railway which grounds it is built on.
Tower has about 147 floors with 9 elevators present throughout the towers. The height of its antenna Spire is about 553.33 meters (1815,f feet). The roof is at the height of 457.2 meters (1500 feet) where as the top floor is about 446.5 meters (that is about 1464.9 feet). Architects were John Andrews, Webb Zerafa and Menkes Housden.

CN Tower 360 Restaurant
On August 1, 2011, the CN Tower opened the EdgeWalk, an amusement in which thrill-seekers can walk on and around the roof of the main pod of the tower at 356 m (1,168.0 ft), which is directly above the 360 Restaurant. It is the world's highest full-circle, hands-free walk. Visitors are tethered to an overhead rail system and walk around the edge of the CN Tower's main pod above the 360 Restaurant on a 1.5 m (4.9 ft) metal floor. The attraction is closed throughout the winter season and during periods of electrical storms and high winds.

One of the most famous buildings of my native city Ivano-Frankivsk - Ratusha or former City Hall. Compared to other famous structures of the world, Ratusha is quite young - completed in 1935 and it took almost 8 years to built.
Located on the Market Square - Plozha Rynok, Ratusha is one of the main city attractions and is currently being used as a Regional Museum.
The current design was created in the 1920s by Stanislaw Trela, while the original building was built with creation of the city in the 17th century.
Ivano-Frankivsk Ratusha - rathaus or city hall, is the only Ukrainian rathaus built in Art Deco style.
Surrounded by a large walking zone, numerous cafes and restaurants, Ratusha place is one of the most favourite places for both citizens and visitors of the city.
There is this fountain you can see on the picture above - built about 15 years ago and looking like a cracked egg - I don't think anyone knows what it really means.

Green Forest of Coco Beach (Playas Del Coco, Guanacaste, Costa Rica)
Everyone will be sitting in traffic, shoveling and cursing the weather. But being Canadian does not neccessarily means constant sufferings, you know! You will be by the pool, absorbing costarican sun and drinking margaritas!

Playas del Coco is easy to access. From Liberia, take the paved route Sardinal - Playas del Coco, a distance of 35 km. Playa del Coco has quite an infrastructure: Many Hotels, Casino, Discos and Restaurants and places to shop. This is the most accessible and and frequently visited beach in Guanacaste Province. The scenery consists of the horseshoe-shaped Coco Bay and steep hills and cliffs. It is a good place to have fun but not to rest. The main attractions are the tourist facilities and hotels and the sun, which shines longer and more brightly here than anywhere else in Costa Rica. In this regard it is worth mentioning, that 16th of April and 28th of August are days when there is the greatest concentration of solar energy per area-unit. It is therefore unwise to sunbath near high noon (11-12).
In a Country like Costa Rica, due to the angle of the sun over the horizon, it is best to sunbathe in the morning (8:30-10:00) or in the afternoon (2:00-5:30). The views from the Bay include Pelonas Islands, Cacique Point to the northwest and Centinela Point. Other attractions are the near beaches of Hermosa, Ocotal and Panama.
